How to Register the Mobile Number Online: The government of India launched an initiative to provide unique identification numbers to the citizens of the country so that they can use this identification number in all their official formal and business documents for their transactions and identity proof across the country.
This was done in 2009. This came to be known as the Aadhar Card. The twelve digits unique identification number issued to the citizens of India by the Unique Identification Authority of India (under the Government of India) in 2009 is the Aadhar Card.
Every citizen of India is required to issue the Aadhar Card and is required to do so. It is not only centralized, but it is also the Universal Identification Number. The meaning of Aadhaar in English is also the basis or the foundation. This word has come from the Hindi language.
UIDAI is an agency working on the Aadhaar system. The Unique Identification Authority of India is the full UIDAI form. The Aadhar card contains 12 digits and is unique. The Aadhar card is a biomedical document. Stores the details of an individual in a government database.
When the client receives the government’s Aadhar ticket, there is no need to delete the color or black and white print from it. But sometimes the original Aadhar card is not reached to the user due to some problems. Only then should the client have to print the card using the source’s name or number.
The Aadhar card is a valid ID identification. Sharing this number of Aadhar cards is safe according to UIDAI’s statement, but this team also said it depends on the user’s own risk. If this information is given to the wrong people, this may be misused.
The first user of the Aadhar card:
Aadhar card scheme was unveiled on 29 September 2010 in Tembhli village located in Maharashtra State’s Nandurbar District in India. The first client of this system was Ranjana Sonawane.

Documents required for Aadhar Card

How to Register the Mobile Number Online
This card is one of the most vital documents of an Indian citizen so as to provide them with a universal identification number and so, this is linked to all the official documents of an Indian citizen. There is no age limit for getting an Aadhar Card – all people starting from a newborn to a senior citizen, everyone can avail the facilities of an Aadhar Card.
Initially, in 2009, not many people were comfortable with the data providing and data verification processes, and there were certain technical issues as well. Most people make some of the other errors in filling their Aadhar Card details.
So, the Unique Identification Authority of India has made it easier for people to get their Aadhar card mobile number registered only offline. This facility is not available in the online portal.
There was, however, an online facility for registering the applicant’s mobile number in Aadhar Card through the SSUP facility. But as of now, the facility has been discontinued and the applicant has to visit the Aadhar Enrolment/Update Centre to register the mobile number in Aadhar Card. The process takes up to 90 days for allowing the changes to be processed.

- Users must obtain a RuPay card to withdraw money from ATM services.

- Subsidy deposited to save the user’s account when buying the LPG cylinder and certain items such as kerosene, sugar, rice, etc.
- Digi locker system:
The Indian government unveiled the Digi locker device in 2015, also known as the Hidden Electronic Storage Device. This is mainly used to store personal documents such as Certificates, PAN cards, Vote card or other documents as well. This depends entirely on what the client has to store.
It has a large space such as 1GB and is connected to the user’s Aadhaar card.
- Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Scheme:
This scheme was launched for the rural people in the year 2005. This program is aimed at providing a livelihood. The wages are paid directly to the bank account of the user.
Here, we will be providing you with the steps to register your mobile number in the method currently available – that is, the offline method.
Step 1: You have to visit the nearest Aadhar Enrolment/Update Centre and contact personnel there.
Step 2: The personnel will hand over an Update Form and you have to fill out the Aadhar Update Form
Step 3: Make sure that you enter only your current mobile number in the form – that is, the number that you want to change to in your Aadhar Card, not the number which is already mentioned there.
Step 4: Ensure once again that you have not mentioned your previous mobile number.
Step 5: In addition to that, you do not have to provide any proof to the personnel for updating your mobile number.
Step 6: Then, the personnel there will register your request.
Step 7: Make sure that you will be handed over an acknowledgment slip containing the URN after the registration of your request.
Step 8: The personnel will charge a fee of ₹ 25/- for availing this service.
The entire process of mobile number registration can again be verified after you get your phone number added and then you can log in to the UIDAI website to download your Aadhar Card.
There, an OTP will be sent to the mobile number now registered and that will come to the new mobile number that you have provided. If it doesn’t you might have to go to the Aadhar Enrollment/ Update Center again.
